PROFESSINONAL INTRODUCTION

Biological Engineering

Length of schooling: 4 years

Academic degree: Bachelor of Engineering  

Educational objectives: To cultivate senior engineering and technical personnel

  with basic knowledge of biology, a master of biotechnology and its industrialization of scientific principle, technological process and engineering design theory and skills, able to engage in the design, production, management and new technical research, new product development and design in biotechnology and engineering.

Main disciplines: Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering and Biotechnology.

Main courses: Advanced Mathematics, College English, Introduction to

Computer Programming, Organic chemistry, College Chemical Experiments, Chemical Principles, General Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Bioengineering and Biotechnology, Downstream Processing of Bioengineering, Bioengineering Equipment, Biological Plant Design.

Career prospects: Our undergraduates can be employed in various fields related to  biopharmaceutical production, food production, environmental protection, biochemical engineering, biological feed etc., to engage in production, management, distribution, new production research & development, and technical design.



Pharmaceutical Engineering

Length of schooling: 4 years

Academic degree: Bachelor of Engineering

Educational objectives: To cultivate advanced engineering and technical personnel who have a good mastery of the basic theories and skills about chemistry, pharmaceutical engineering and pharmacy, have the ability to solve the problems from practical projects, be engaged in drug research, design and production, as well as drug quality inspection, management, marketing and dispensing. In addition, students should have innovative spirit and strong social responsibility, and can adapt to the requirements of employers and society.

Educational objectives: The specialty aims to cultivate applied senior professional persons who are provided with basic theory of life science and systematic biotechnology theory, elementary knowledge and basic skills. Graduates are ensured to work on education, applied research& production development, marketing and management in the field of biology, medicine, environment, food industry and department of health. Students should majored in basic theory and knowledge of modern biotechnology, and accept the scientific training of modern biological basic research and engineering application.

BioScience

Length of schooling: 4 years

Academic degree: Bachelor of Science

Educational objectives: The specialty aims to cultivate applied senior professional persons with all-round way-morally, intellectually and physically, also with correct world outlook, philosophy and values. Students is also required of basic knowledge of humanities and social sciences, with basic of natural science especially in mathematic, physics and chemistry. It is also required that international vision and scientific thinking is strictly trained and basic life science theory, elementary knowledge and basic skills mastered. Graduates are ensured to study for advanced degree, work on scientific research, production development, education and management in the field of plant science and zoology.
